Iana Sundari Malcolm was raised by her Yoga loving parents, between New York City and Yogaville, an ashram in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. In her early 20’s Iana left a successful career in Public Relations to follow her passion for all things Wellness. Since then she has traveled the world teaching Hatha Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Post Labor Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Meditation. She is an ERYT-500 level teacher and a Yoga Teacher Trainer. Outside of Yoga, Iana is a birth Doula and works as a Community Manager for The Dinner Party, an organization dedicated to those who have suffered significant loss. A foodie, a dog lover and a fan of all things wine, Iana is proud to be the founder of Bliss Out!
Joann Santiago is a clinical exercise physiologist, corrective exercise specialist, Reiki practitioner, and registered yoga teacher. In her role as a health care provider, she educates people on the benefits of moving the body and how it can aid in disease and injury prevention. She holds a BS and MS in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with a concentration in Rehabilitation Science. A Brooklyn native, Joann relocated to Miami 11 years ago. Off the mat, Joann is an advocate for natural living, sustainability, and making conscious choices. She enjoys spending time connecting to nature, finding new plant-based cuisine, and performing service within the community. She views every day as an opportunity for healing and growth. Namaste
Francesca Galea is a Toronto raised yogi, dancer and choreographer with a high energy and an inspiring approach to teaching and performing! She is also the owner of Sexy Minds Social Group, an empowerment business for women of all ages, and a hydration specialist with Enagic Canada! At only 30 years old, she has performed and taught numerous dance & yoga styles all over North America, the Caribbean, Africa, and the Middle East. Her background includes a degree from George Brown’s Commercial Dance Program; acceptance into a private training program at Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, a Pole Fitness Certification from Pole Fitness Studio, a 200 Hour YTT with Buti® Yoga and a 100-hour YTT with The Yoga People! Francesca continues to travel the world teaching and inspiring others to live their true potential, and enjoy a passion driven life!
Catie received her 200-hour certification from the Integral Yoga Institute in 2005 while residing at the Satchidananda Ashram (Yogaville) in Buckingham, VA. She has taught over 4000 hours of yoga earning her the designation of E-RYT 200 (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher). Catie is a Yoga Alliance continuing education provider (YACEP), a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Barre Instructor and also holds the designation of RCYT (Children's Yoga Teacher) through Kidding Around Yoga and Karma Kids. She facilitates annual Yoga Teacher Trainings and workshops in anatomy, guided meditation, and yoga for stress management. Catie was first introduced to yoga as a teenager, but began practicing regularly a few years later when she immersed herself in yoga philosophy, meditation, and seva (service), while living at Yogaville. Catie has worked with all age groups in a variety of styles and practices including Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative asana as well as pranayama, meditation, chanting, energy work, and the study of the ancient texts. Her passion is to share the gifts of yoga with her students to guide them in cultivating and nurturing a healthy relationship with themselves- body, mind and spirit. Through her own journey Catie has a deep understanding and appreciation for the freeing and healing powers of the practices. Catie most enjoys empowering students toward connection and back to their true nature, that is peace, through the philosophies of yoga. Catie is a lover of adventure sports including paddleboarding (SUPing) and spends much of her free time gardening and cooking!
Jenné is a Boca Raton native, who loves art, books, adventure, travel and savasana! Her yoga journey began in 2010 during college, where she practiced asana and studied psychology and meditation. Upon graduation in 2014, she pursued her RYT 200 Double Certification in both Hatha and Vinyasa styles of yoga under Jennifer Yarro at Frog Lotus Yoga in Massachusetts. Since her training, Jenné has taught over 500 hours of classes and workshops across the globe! Her instruction is alignment based with careful attention to anatomy and functional movement. Her intention is to offer students the chance to develop a mindful and sustainable yoga practice that supports the practice of life and journey to enlightenment! Through intelligent sequencing students are encouraged to build then blossom into more profound layers of postures, and challenged to explore and refine the body and mind. In classes you can always expect to find fresh artful sequences, upbeat music, anatomy based cues, yogic philosophy and even a couple jokes!
I base my practice and teachings on digging deep into the yoga philosophy and debunking typical teaching norms allowing people to explore their unique bodies and make wise choices for their practice based on the present moment awareness. I find when students are given freedom to explore they begin to find what they were seeking. Applying yoga philosophies on our mat gives us the tools to pursue our yoga off the mats and apply it to our everyday life. With sequences that provide thorough instruction and mindful movements we can get back to the truth of ourselves. My mission is to create community where yoga is accessible to all beings, elevating our collective consciousness.
Beverly Herbozo is a certified yoga instructor who is passionate about sharing the empowering benefits of yoga with her community. She is committed to supporting her students in cultivating and living their yoga practice. She completed her 200 hour and 500 hour yoga teacher certifications from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in 2010 and 2013. Most recently Beverly completed a year long 300 hour advanced Yoga and Ayurveda certification program that integrates yoga and the wisdom of Ayurveda (principles & therapies) with Mas Vidal of Dancing Shiva Educational Organization. Through study, inquiry, and experiences of various healing arts and a disciplined yoga practice, Beverly spent most of her adult life on a spiritual quest that empowered her to release conditioning, fears, and limiting beliefs that restricted her from fully embracing her authentic Self. Through her journey, she reconnected with the love and light that lives within all of us. Beverly draws in from her professional and personal experiences as a speech-language therapist, yogi, vegan, raw foodie, triathlete, runner, and fitness and wellness enthusiast. She creates customized wellness programs that combine Yoga, Ayurveda, physical exercises, and subtle body energy work to achieve balance, transformational healing, and greater energy.
For the past 12 years, Jennifer Gibson has been a certified Yoga instructor through the Integral Yoga Institute of NYC. Through her exploration of yoga, she has discovered tools to find a peaceful balance in her daily life. She has been greatly influenced by her Therapeutic Yoga training under the guidance of Cheri Clampett Borda and Arturo Peal. With a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from New World School of the Arts, University of Florida, she has an extensive background in dance and uses movement and knowledge of the body as tools in her classes. Jennifer infuses her sessions with love, compassion, and an exploration of self through breath, awareness, and an emphasis on staying present. Firmly believing that yoga should be accessible to everyone, Jennifer offers chair yoga to seniors in both Manhattan and Brooklyn. She also works privately with women in the Hasidic Jewish community. She has developed a Yoga for Anxiety workshop based on personal experience which she has presented around the country. Jennifer is certified in Beginner and Intermediate Yoga; Prenatal, Postnatal, and Yoga for Labor and Delivery; Accessible Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Therapeutic Yoga.
A Certified Yoga Teacher and a Plant-based Raw Chef, Joanna strives to empower people to live up to their full potential by mindfully breathing and eating, while developing a mind-body connection. Her quest for optimal health and a fulfilled life begun over 10 years ago, when she started practicing yoga and meditation. In a journey to nourish and heal her own body, she experienced a wide range of techniques, which led her to pursue yoga teachings around the world (India, US, South America, SE Asia, Australia) allowing her to develop a deep and broad understanding of the practice and its philosophy. Joanna completed her 200h teacher training in Byron Bay, Australia, and she intends to always remain a student of the spiritual teachings. Yoga has brought a profound purpose to her life and that’s what she shares with her students.
Suzie Hennessy is a certified and Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher who encourages independent thinking, creativity, mindfulness and self efficacy. She values honesty, humility, trust, service, patience, respect, PEACE and unconditional love. Her yoga journey began in 2005 at Barry University. At Ayama Yoga she became a certified yoga teacher and later went on to obtain a certificate in breathing and meditation. She is enrolled in school for medical mindfulness at this moment. Her goal for you is simple: obtain and sustain. Suzie’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree, a professional degree and state/national licensures. Additionally, she is a health and life coach. Currently in medical practice, she has passion to help and heal. Highlights of areas of experience and interests include sports/nuclear/integrated medicine, nutrition, psychology, philosophy, religion, aviation, percussion, dance, the ocean, animals and more! Grief work has become a heartfelt focus point in her journey. She has a deep rooted spirituality and has a strong Faith-based foundation. In her classes you move through stretching, strengthening, breath work, prayer, meditation and mindfulness in a devotional, fun and inspirational way. Joe Hutcheson (or Hutch) lives in NYC and is a 200-hr RYT and an ACE Personal Trainer. Hutch believes that Yoga is an invaluable foundational practice for any personal fitness routine. In addition, Hutch is a college professor, teaching Public Speaking at the Borough of Manhattan Community College.
